It's day 9 in "Chez St. Joe"; Lot's of great visitors yesterday; Aunt Nellie, Jennifer and Mike, and Jim & Steph who relayed her AML battle (not sure which strain) some 18n years ago, complete remission, full life, 4 year old son, She was in her 20's. How scary. Literally lost months, waking up to get reoriented and learn to eat; After recovery not allowed to work for a year!!
So day 8 ended w/beautiful evening with, 2 hour delay on food service after order placed. they lost 1st order so Nurse got 2nd ordeer expedited. Explained it being still warm when I got it! Did get to watch the Heli-Pad in use outside my window. Early evening practice run, was my guess.
Nite before they pushed sleep aids, last nite unsure of chart instructions, so delayed. Woke at 11 w/severe low back pain. assummed laying wrong, it happens. Up to use urinal and nearly went down as left hip won't support weight. Gave me okicotin, but no effect yet, it's 1:20. Seems to me to be tied to Marrow biopsy location. They did put sleep aid in my IV so will keep busy away from pain until it hits me.

I thought that we killed all potential germs when we used to swim in the Chewach River… surely all those septic tank leaks into the river would have blocked any disease carriers!
