Ok - Zoey here (aka: Peg).

No one said that kicking Leukemia's ass was gonna be pretty or easy. The Chemo treatments are kicking in and the side effects are showing up now - not to mention the nasty intestinal bug Larry is fighting at the moment. It's leaving him weak, and tired and needing to focus his attention on healing and moving through this.

Please know that he might not answer the phone when you call or reply to your emails - but he IS getting your messages and appreciates everyone's support. Thank you all so much.

Also note that visitors are hard for him right now - so if you were planning on visiting please give Doris a call first, or wait for word that it's a good time.

In the meantime - all signs show that the Chemo is working and his blood counts are turning around; his hip is not hurting him at all anymore and he's in good hands.

Keep sending those good vibes - and we'll keep poking Leukemia in the eye until it gives up : )
